Annotation: The article presents the results of a scientific research on the development of the author’s structural and functional model of developing special professional competencies of Bachelor students mastering the basic professional educational program in the sphere of music and computer technologies. The article presents the principles of the author’s structural and functional model of developing special professional competencies of Bachelor students. In the context of the author’s model structure, the interconditionality of the developed principles and the main educational approaches is substantiated: the competence-based, contextual, interactive, student-centered, and individual ones. The principle of contextual interpretation of all types of educational practices provides for the pro-active attitude of the student, who is ready for and able to study and immerse in the professional and social contexts in conditions use of interpersonal contacts and communication with the fellow-students, students of other training courses, employers, administration and employees of practical training facilities, alumni, experts, young professionals and specialists-trainees, and use of mass media for searching, extracting and interpreting the professional and personally significant information; implementation and/or creation of opportunities of the social and cultural environment. The principle of professional reflection of the educational material and worksite situations implies a person’s readiness for and ability of objective and productive self-evaluation, self-analysis, and self-observation. The principle of interactivity is predetermined by an interactive approach to the organization of education. The principle of personally significant sense of education is aimed at identifying and understanding the personal sense of the special professional competencies acquired by the students. The author has explored the specifics of developing special professional competencies of Bachelor students in the conditions of students’ practical training at higher educational institutions.
