Annotation: The article examines the experience of using immersive technologies in the communication activities of museums. The museum as an educational institution plays an important role in shaping the intellectual and cultural potential of society, it is the keeper and conductor of cultural heritage, constantly interacting with the general public, plays a fundamental role in preserving, studying and transferring knowledge about the past and present. In modern conditions, museums are actively introducing multimedia technologies and interactive expositions, largely reflecting the concept of a "living museum" (P.A. Florensky). The modern practice of organizing museum space is not limited to standard exhibitions of exhibits, museums have become dynamic platforms acting as platforms for dialogue and discussion. The author considers museums as platforms that create interactive expositions and organize educational programs that contribute to the critical assessment and discussion of complex social, historical and cultural issues. In the article, the author pays great attention to one of the most spectacular forms of organizing museum space - theatricalization, which includes such an innovation as immersiveness, and the experience of its use in museum events. The author examines both domestic and foreign experiences in creating interactive expositions based on museums, contributing to the critical assessment and discussion of complex social, historical and cultural issues. The author of the article examines the work of the Polish professor R. In which the scientist puts forward the concept of interactive art, designed to combine the disparate understanding of immersiveness in art and culture into a common theoretical and methodological concept, and on its basis concludes that the professor's materials can be included in the creation of domestic immersive programs.
