Annotation: This article discusses the issues that Bachelor graduates face when they start looking for a job in additional education institutions. Earlier, the graduates used to get a specialty, which now is substituted terminologically for professional profile, thus complicating the process of searching for a job. The Bachelor academic curriculum does not infer having an opportunity to work at the children’s additional education centers. However, there is a great demand for such employees. In a small town where there are no ceramic plants or serious workshops, a graduate can be employed only at art schools. Therefore, we urgently have to find and test a new approach combining the pedagogical and professional subjects, and teaching methods for the needs of a certain professional profile. It is vitally important to return to the original version of the state standards for 54.03.02 “Decorative and Applied Arts and Crafts” professional profile which is described by the qualification “Decorative Arts and Crafts Teacher.” We also need to return to the original version of the state standards for 51.03.02 “Folk Art Culture” professional profile “Running a Decorative Art and Crafts Studio” which described the qualification received as “Decorative Arts and Crafts Studio Teacher/Leader.” The majority of the future Bachelors are tertiary colleges graduates. Their choice of the next higher level is not accidental, on the contrary, it is natural. There are no Pedagogical Universities that could provide the necessary quality of specialized training for Decorative and Applied Arts and Crafts Bachelors and Folk Art Culture Bachelors. Therefore, it should be logical to provide an opportunity to give the graduates a qualification of a teacher as a result of completing basic professional education curriculum in compliance with the new HE FSES.
