G.V. SVIRIDOV’S CREATIVITY IN THE SYSTEM OF SPIRITUAL, MORAL AND PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF YOUNGER SCHOOLCHILDREN

Annotation: The article deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of the problem of improving the system of spiritual, moral and patriotic education of younger schoolchildren, such as: possibilities of using musical art, in particular, the music by G.V. Sviridov in the process of spiritual, moral and patriotic upbringing at music lessons in generally educational school. Forming creative personality becomes possible only in the conditions of complex development of spiritual and intellectual abilities. Because musical art stimulates the development of the spiritual and intellectual components, the author proposes to look through the system as the universal facility in developing a personality. So, the goal of the article is to show the abilities of the musical art – especially the Sviridov’s music in the process of improving the system for the younger schoolchildren. The methodical development, aimed on solving the problem of improving the system of spiritual, moral and patriotic education of younger schoolchildren, has been fulfilled; there were summed up the results of a research of existing methodological support and the survey of school music teachers; the most important, in our opinion, questions of practical application of the adapted variant of the program on music, with the inclusion of the most vivid fragments of the creativity by Georgy Sviridov at music lessons, were searched; a classification was made, facilitating the selection of musical examples for each lesson, according to the thematic plan, on the base of the pieces by Georgy Sviridov. In Kosiannenko’s work the methods of a search in the pedagogical process, research and analysis of the documentation (the programs and supporting documents) were used. The author’s experimental research showed the correctness of the hypothesis of the research – looking through the musical art and creativity of Sviridov as the powerful remedy in improvement of the system of spiritual, moral and patriotic upbringing of the younger schoolchildren.
