CHAMBER INSTRUMENTAL SONATA OF KAZAKH COMPOSERS: EVOLUTION AND STYLE FEATURES

Annotation: Passage into the new socio-cultural formation needs understanding the XX century music historical events. Study of one of the important category of Kazakhstan chamber-instrumental music – sonatas, taking the specifi c place in value system of domestic culture – is the high priority matter. Within the framework of main matter for modern music science, the most important problem of sonata composition by Kazakhstan composers. This new event in Kazakhstan music space started up in the middle of XX century, although intensive absorption stage of the main category of professional European tradition began in the 1930s. Semicentennial historical process of sonata category development in Kazakhstan music is put into three stage periodization: formation, development and modern status. Principal stages are marked in the article:1) end of 1940 – middle of 1950 – sonata formation in the context of chamber-instrumental music;2) end of 195-1980 – maturity of sonata thinking; 3) 1990 – researches of original composite solutions.Own style processes and trends are specifi c for chamber-instrumental sonata each stage of development. National specifi city of sonata oeuvre in different periods demonstrated variety of possible approaches in the synthesis of two cultures. Early models, being based on European culture, invocate or simulate folklore melodies, mature works, being rethought inventively the components of national music language, are based on classic romantic model, the modern sonata, being refl ected the sound atmosphere of modernity, had suffered a refusal to tradition of composition.
