ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ART OF PLAYING TWO PIANOS IN CHINA

Annotation: in China. In retrospect, the history of the development of playing the two pianos in this country is considered. The state of the style of performances on two pianos at present time is studied, and prospects for its development are considered. The author proposes 3 periods in development of playing the two pianos in China: the stage of beginning (1960s and 1970s), period of forming the Chinese music for two pianos (1980s and 1990s ) and the period of the following development of the Chinese piano music for 2 instruments (2000s to our days). Each stage has its peculiarities. The author defines the types of the pieces for two pianos, composed in China. The way to the modern solutions in the questions of the methodic moves to the questions of the teaching methods of playing the two instruments. The main thought of the author is her assurance in the importance to develop playing the two pianos in China and creating the special repertoire for this type of piano ensemble. Following the international experience and its use in pedagogical practice of China together with the connection of improvement of the “Chinese style” are proposed to create lately the Chinese special system of teaching to play the two pianos.
