MECHANISMS OF THE INHERITANCE OF THE TRADITIONS OF ETHNO-CULTURAL DIVERSITY IN THE ACTIVITY OF MODERN MUSEUMS OF THE SOUTH OF THE FAR EAST (2012-2017)

Annotation: The article discusses the issue of preserving ethno-cultural diversity, which plays an important role in the formation of ethno-cultural policy in the Far Eastern region of Russia. We consider different approaches to the definition of ethno-cultural diversity, as a generally accepted understanding the foundations of ethnic culture: rituals, customs, behavioral habits and other stable features, handed down from generation to generation. The relevance of the article raises the theme of the development of the museum, as a sociocultural institute for the development of mechanisms for the inheritance of traditions of ethno-cultural diversity. The need to study the issue is associated with an increase in migration processes in the South of the Far East of Russia. The new strategy of the state national policy, adopted for the period until 2025 by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation in 2012, today, plays an important role in shaping the ethno-cultural policy in the Far Eastern region of Russia and should determine the main activities of cultural institutions, including the museums. The author of the article describes the current situation in the museums of the South of the Far East on the use of new forms in the translation of the ethno-cultural heritage. The practical experience of 11 leading museums of Khabarovsk and Primorsky Territories, Amur Region for 2012-2017 was collected and reviewed. The new forms and mechanisms that appeared in museums in response to modern challenges, including the ethnic communities are described. The article considers the existing mechanisms: expositions and exhibitions, educational forms. An attempt has been made to analyze the museum practices for the past five years, to determine the most effective mechanisms in reflecting the ethno-cultural diversity of the South of the Far East.
