REFLECTING THE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES OF INFORMATION ANALYSTS IN PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS

Annotation: The article describes the experience in the forming of information and analytical competencies of graduates in “Library and Information Sphere” acquired at Department of Technology of Documentary Communications of Kemerovo State University of Culture. The authors picked out the information and analytical competencies from the 3rd Generation and 3++ Generation of the State Educational Standards of Higher Professional Education and made their comparison. The following professional standards are referred as basic in the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Professional Education of Generation 3++: a teacher (pedagogical activity in the field of preschool, primary general, basic general, secondary general education); a teacher of additional education for children and adults; a specialist in the field of upbringing; creation and management of information resources on the Internet; organizational and documentary support of management in organizations of any legal form. The article provides the analysis of requirements for knowledge and skills presented in professional standards and their compliance with the education programs of technology of Documentary Communications Department of Kemerovo State University of Culture. It concludes that the analytical competencies of bachelors are formed in the most disciplines of the curriculum. The analytical competencies are revealed through knowledge, skills, and proficiency. They are implemented through various types of practical exercises. The analysis of the curriculum content shows their necessary timely relevance.
