SPIRITUALITY AS A COMPONENT OF MUSICAL GIFT: SYNESTHETIC ASPECT OF RESEARCH

Annotation: This article analyzes data based on a review of data devoted to the description of the scientific knowledge of spirituality and the synesthetic aspect of the study.The modern term “spirituality” and the interpretation of this phenomenon are analyzed. It denotes the role of spirituality in the context of musical culture for the disclosure of the features of its relationship with synesthetic. Features of church singing are noted in conjunction with the originality of the Russian national culture and with the leading musical activity of the people – singing. The aesthetic and ethical values of choral singing are described as the basis of a person’s spiritual development. Presents the study of spirituality in the process of musical activity in the works of domestic scientists. The article describes the synesthetic nature of the spiritual component of musical endowments and the concept of spirituality as an objective quality of music, emphasizing its significance in the deep and true, that is, in the cosmic-universal scale. The work emphasizes that synaesthesia is a feeling or “intersensual connections”, a kind of “link” between feelings, intended to express one or another concept traditionally perceived in the “modality” assigned to it. The article may be useful to students and students of vocational schools, when studying courses in the history of music and performing arts, as well as teachers and artists.
