Annotation: The article on the basis of the analysis of competences which the bachelor has to get in Training Direction 44.3.1 Pedagogical Education, ways of formation of culture of information security of students – future teachers – in the course of their vocational training are offered. Formation of this culture has to be carried out when studying all disciplines of the main educational program and also within the special course “A basis of culture of information security” (18 hours) which is specially developed by the author. The article informs about formation of culture of information security of students – future teachers – as during training they not only should process large volumes of information but also to prepare for realization of information, approximate and Gnostic function of the teacher. Formation of this culture is carried out in the information and education environment of pedagogical higher education institution. Implementation of conditions on formation at students of culture of information security in SBEI HE “North Ossetian State Pedagogical Institute” has allowed to draw conclusions on their expediency. Students have skills of safe work with information (decoding, transformation of information), rational organization of the personal information space, show culture of behavior on the Internet and successfully use the knowledge and abilities in teaching at school.
