INTERNET COMMUNICATION AS A FACTOR OF THE SOCIO-POLITICAL STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES IMPROVING

Annotation: The modern stage in the development of the Russian Federation is characterized by the search options for the progress in the development of the society. As shown in the article, one of the possible effective development ways in the socio-political sphere in this country is the use of students’ Internet communications. The students representing a numerous and important part of youth as a resource by which a state power and public organizations can provide the harmonization of various social groups interests. Communications in modern society are so important that reasonably can be considered as conditions for the society existence and development. They originated from peoples’ practical needs to exchange different information. In the article, we discuss the goals and communication functions changings under conditions of the Internet. Its communications implement the traditional messaging functions, develop them, and this can result in both positive and negative for the social and personal development consequences. In areas such as education, interpersonal communication, information exchange, Internet communication can be evaluated positively. Along with this, high speed of information dissemination in the Internet and a large number of recipients can lead to various socio-political risks, including different kinds of instability. Theoretical works and empirical studies’ analysis allowed us to identify the main problems of Internet communication as a factor of intensification of socio-political activities of students. The paper presents the identified research directions of determined problems.
