Annotation: The problem of formation of socially responsible behavior of students with success can be solved in the framework of appropriately organized leisure activities with the active inclusion of the institutions of sociocultural activities. Student youth represents this socio-demographic group. The main characteristics of the student youth are: age homogeneity, certain number, territorial location, specific social role, special subculture and group self-consciousness, generated by a common lifestyle, etc. This actualizes the need to organize a special activity, the purpose of which will be to introduce young people to socially approved forms of leisure, create conditions for their creative self-realization, increase the significance of a healthy lifestyle, encourage socially responsible behavior in general. This raises the problem of identifying the means of educational influence on the younger generation, contributing to the formation in these categories of people of the need for cultural development, their socialization, consolidation of ethical values and moral standards – all these will lead to the formation of socially responsible behavior. The choice of means of socio-cultural activity in shaping the socially responsible behavior of students is determined by the need for a systematic impact, both on the individual person of the educational process and on the social group as a whole, based on taking into account the psychophysiological regularities and development of young people into a particular social layer. The essence of the formation of social responsibility of student youth by means of socio-cultural activities lies in purposefully organized pedagogical influence, implemented in leisure activities. The most significant and effective forms include mass, group and individual forms of socio-cultural activities. The article emphasizes the role of motivational, cognitive, emotional and evaluative components.
