Annotation: The Chinese initiative "One Belt– One Road", put forward by the Government of the People's Republic of China more than 10 years ago, represents a new paradigm of international and interethnic communication based on parity conditions for all participants, regardless of the level of socio-economic development. One of the important tasks that are being solved within the framework of this interaction is the creation of a common infrastructure that will ensure the smooth functioning of all chains of emerging connections. The construction of infrastructure is necessary both to address the issue of accelerating the economic development of the traditionally backward regions of the People's Republic of China, and to include countries adjacent to the People's Republic of China and remote regions of the world that are of strategic interest to China in this process. The hypothesis of our study is that the Chinese nation does not offer the world a civilizational mission that represents and popularizes the achievements of the national community of the People's Republic of China (the so–called "Chinese experience"), but integrates the conceptual innovation of China's national development "One Belt, One Road" into the system of international relations, expanding the boundaries of its influence by building soft and hard infrastructure, through its interface with the infrastructure available in the cooperating countries and regions. The Chinese initiative, proposed by the PRC as a new paradigm of international and interregional cooperation, is not only a large-scale plan for the integration of globalizing national communities, but also a powerful mechanism for the formation of Chinese national identity at the infrastructural and institutional level. The construction of identity at these levels is most effective, as it represents the most pragmatic and tangible results of national activities, creating a space for new cultural meanings and values relevant to the national community being formed.
