FEATURES OF THE CREATIVE METHOD OF THE ARTIST FROM MONGOLIA NURDIKHAN RIYAN ULY ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE COLLECTION OF WORKS OF THE MUSEUM OF KAZAKHS OF ALTAI

Annotation: Abstract: The article analyzes the work of the artist Nurdikhan Riyan uly, the author of more than thirty works presented in the exposition of the Museum of Kazakhs of the Altai Kosh–Agach district, which had not previously been introduced into scientific circulation. The aim of the work is to study the features of the creative method as a system of ideological and aesthetic attitudes and principles expressed in works of art. The main methods used in the article are formal stylistic, historical and iconographic, as well as interpretative and intertextual methods that reveal the connections of an artistic work with other cultural phenomena. The works of Nurdikhan Riyan uly from the exposition of the Museum of Kazakhs of Altai were made in the period from 1998 to 2004 and almost all are devoted to national themes: portraits of outstanding personalities who played a significant role in the history and art of Kazakhstan, the development of new lands by Kazakhs, national games, classes, crafts, etc. The landscape works glorify the beauty of the Greater Altai and Central Asia. The works are imbued with the idea of the ethnic identity of the Kazakh people, national codes are imprinted in the works of the author, which are conveyed in colors, in exquisite plasticity of forms and images, in compositional solutions, in means of artistic depiction.
