Annotation: The article demonstrates the results of a study of the tunes of a unique song genre - andylshchina. This genre exists in the tradition of two groups of Russian old-settlers of Yakutia - Kolyma residents and Russkoe Ustye residents. The study was carried out on the material of twelve samples of andylshchinas recorded in the Kolyma region and in the village of Russkoe Ustye. Particular attention is paid to the intervallic structure of scales and melody in andylshchinas. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that often instead of the distance of a second between adjacent tones, a distance of third is formed. This leads to the idea that in the perception of the performer, the move not only for a second, but also for a third is perceived as step-by-step, and not spasmodic. Another remarkable feature of andylshchinas is their melodic relief, which is the same for all songs of this genre. This melodic relief consists of three cycles of movement: wave, zigzag and downward movement, followed by repetition of the fundamental tone. According to the degree of intonation similarity, all twelve samples are divided into three groups: 1) songs with the same tunes, but different lyrics; 2) songs with some common melodic fragments; 3) songs with individual intonation realization. A comparison of the songs also showed that a transformation of the andylshchina genre took place in Russkoe Ustye. This transformation is due to the fact that in the Russkoe Ustye the specific properties of the andylshchina are less pronounced than in Kolyma. The reason for this may be the influence of such phenomena as epic song folklore or urban song culture on the andylshchina in the Russkoe Ustye. The results obtained expand knowledge about the andylshchina and make a significant contribution to the further study of this phenomenon.
