Annotation: We cannot but admit significant impact the socio-cultural environment has on the formation of personal qualities, revealed at the individual and social levels. The basis of any sociocultural environment is represented by sociocultural institutions that have a unique pedagogical potential and form a kind of an infrastructure that takes into account regional peculiarities. The purpose of the study is to determine the directions for realization of the pedagogical potential as the functional part of Kemerovo region sociocultural infrastructure. Methodology and methods. Methodological basis of the study is presented by the general scientific interdisciplinary methodological conception provisions, cultural conceptions and sociocultural theories. The research is based on theoretical, empirical and statistical methods, such as culturological papers and pedagogical literature analysis; conceptual research apparatus of terminological analysis; modeling and design and observation. Results of the study. While doing the research, we noted the urgency of creating conditions to realize the pedagogical potential of the regional sociocultural infrastructure and identified the international aspect of this issue. The study presents a notion of the regional sociocultural infrastructure as a complex of sociocultural institutions and services as the factors that contribute to the personal and social development of a certain territory residents. We have also identified and listed the features of the sociocultural infrastructure of Kemerovo region in this paper. We have identified the ways and suggested directions to realize the pedagogical potential of sociocultural institutions of Kemerovo region, in order to preserve, present, communicate and interpret cultural and social values through direct contact with a person. We have identified the main conditions for realization of the pedagogical potential of the regional socio-cultural infrastructure, which are: - accessibility; - variability of activities; - forms and methods of work which take into consideration the age, national and cultural characteristics of population groups: - conditions for sociocultural and creative self-realization of the locals. The study presents a report on the experience of organizing the system of institutional partnership in Kemerovo region and implementing the integrated pedagogical programs that involve the regional sociocultural institutions’ potential in the educational process. Conclusion. As a result of the study, we have concluded that due to the developed sociocultural infrastructure of this region that has a significant pedagogical potential and is greatly involved in the educational process, it contributes to the development of social and cultural experience through building relationships with the surrounding environment.
