Annotation: The article describes the approaches of the profile “Training and Methodological Association” to the design of the Approximate Master’s educational program for the Master’s program in the field of preparation 51.04.04 “Museology and Protection of Objects of Cultural and Natural Heritage.” In case of this direction, the stages of creating a program are considered, their features are justified. At the first stage, the authors conduct the analysis of existing profiles in the educational organizations of the Russian Federation that carry out the preparation of Masters in the direction “Museology and Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage.” Within the framework of this preliminary stage, the professional standards associated with museum activities have been studied and the possibility of maximizing the boundaries of the profile of training the Masters-museologists on the basis of the resources and needs of a specific region, as well as within established scientific schools, is justified. In the second stage, the short content of sample Working Programs of Disciplines, Practice Programs, as well as State Final Attestation Programs for the establishment of interdisciplinary connections, continuity of courses and practices determining the sequence of implementation of the profile orientation of the educational program, which conditioned its architectonics and compliance with the requirements of the educational standard 3 ++. At this stage, the focus was on the principles and ways of forming professional competencies, as well as indicators of their achievement. On the third, corrective stage, the essence of which lies in the internal evaluation of the PEP at the level of the Federal Training and Methodological Association for the Enlarged Group of 51.00.00 “Cultural Studies and Socio-cultural Projects” for the compliance of this program with modern education technologies, special attention is paid to the correlation of structure and content.
