Formatting rules and conditions for accepting articles in the journal

theoretical and applied research

Before submitting an article, authors are advised to familiarize themselves with the concept of the publication, the content of the published issues.

I.Manuscript.The article is submitted in a personal account on the publication's website in Microsoft Word format (*.doc, *.docx, *.rtf extensions). Files must be named according to the name of the first author, indicating the city and section of the journal. For example, "Ivanov_Kemerovo_Culturology". Placing several articles in one file is not allowed.

1. The volume of the full text of the manuscript is (1600 - 6000 words, for graduate students – no more than 2500 words). In the case when the volume of the article exceeding the standards, in the opinion of the author, is justified and cannot be reduced, the decision to publish is made at the meeting of the editorial board on the recommendation of the reviewer.

2. Manuscript text format. The text should be typed in Times New Roman, size 12 pt, line spacing – single; indents on each side of the page – 2 cm; alignment - in width; the indent of the first line is 1.25. All duplicate spaces and extra line breaks must be removed from the text. Article pages should be numbered.

3. The file with the text of the article must contain all the information for publication (including figures, musical examples, tables, etc.).

The structure of the manuscript must match the template:

- the name of the heading of the journal where the article should be placed (in accordance with the heading of the journal «Bulletin of KemGUKI»);

- UDC (Universal Decimal Classification) index, reflecting the content of the article;

- title of the article in capital letters(font: bold; alignment: centered), information about the source of funding for the article (if the article is published with a grant);

- article authors. When writing the authors of the article, the surname should be indicated before the initials of the name and patronymic. Surname of the author (s) I.O. (in full), (font: italics, bold), information about the authors: academic degree, academic title, position, place of work (study or competition). The official FULL name of the institution (without abbreviations) must be given. After the name of the institution, the city and country must be indicated in brackets. E-mail of all authors.

- article abstract (150-300 words) should be structured: relevance, purpose, materials and methods, results, conclusions. The abstract must fully correspond to the content of the work.

- keywords (3-10 words), should reflect the main content of the article, if possible, do not repeat the terms of the title and abstract, use terms from the text of the article, as well as terms that define the subject area and include other important concepts that will facilitate and expand the possibilities of finding the article by means of information retrieval systems. It is necessary to specify keywords that contribute to the indexing of the article in search engines. When compiling keywords, it is recommended to test the variants of scientific citation prepared by the author (RSCI, SCOPUS, WoS), i.e. enter them into the appropriate search forms and view the availability of results.

2. Information in the Roman alphabet (transliteration) and translation of the relevant data into English.

The translation of the title of the article, abstract, keywords, list of references should be done by a specialist, machine translation (online translators) is strictly not allowed and will not be accepted by the editors.

- article title. The English-language name must be literate from the point of view of the English language, while the meaning must fully correspond to the Russian-language name (capital letters, font: bold; alignment: centered);

-author names. Full name must be written in accordance with the foreign passport, or in the same way as in articles previously published in foreign journals. Authors who publish for the first time and do not have a foreign passport should use the BGN transliteration standard. Information about the authors: academic degree, academic title, position, place of work (study or competition) in English, email address.

-affiliation. It is necessary to indicate the OFFICIAL ENGLISH name of the institution, indicate the city and country in brackets, then the author's e-mail.

- abstract (250 - 300 words). Abstract is a short summary of a scientific article. It is obligatory to use special English terminology. If you suspect the use of only an automatic translation system, the article is sent for revision.

-translation of abstractarticles into Russian.

- keywords (3-10 words). Keywords must match the Russian version.

3. The full text (1600-6000 words, for graduate students – 1600-2500 words)in Russian or another language (original language) should be structured into sections. The structure of the full text of the manuscript describing the results of original research should correspond to the generally accepted template and contain sections: introduction (relevance), purpose and objectives, materials and methods, results, conclusions, discussion (discussion).

The text of the article should be carefully proofread. The author is responsible for the scientific and theoretical level of the published material, transfers the rights to the publication and guarantees that the article is original and has not been published in whole or in part in other publications; Articles of graduate students and applicants for the degree of candidate of sciences are additionally signed by the supervisor.

Picturesshould be contrasting and clear. The amount of graphic material is minimal (with the exception of works where it is justified by the nature of the study). Each figure must be placed in the text and accompanied by a numbered caption (example: Figure 1. Figure title). References to figures in the text are required. In addition, drawings, photographs, musical examples, etc. should be saved in jpg, gif, tif, etc. format and attached to the article in separate files, the name of which should duplicate the name of the drawing, photograph, musical example, etc. in the text.

Tablesshould be placed in the text of the article, they should be editable, have a numbered title and clearly marked columns that are convenient and easy to read. References to tables in the text are required.

Microsoft Excel chartsembedded in an article must be editable.

Text notes, if provided, are made in the "footnote" mode; (in the "Insert" option - "Link" - "Footnote", numbering in numbers from 1).

The use of fonts other than Times New Roman is allowed if justified by the nature of the study. In this case, you must additionally provide the font installation file.

Links.Links to sources of quotations and other information are placed in the text in squares. For example, [1, p. 5].

4. References (8-30 sources)with Russian-language references in Russian should comply withGOST R 7.0.5-2008. Bibliographic link. General requirements and drafting rules.

The list of references on the topic of the research should include references to publications published over the last 5-10 years, included in the List of the Higher Attestation Commission (including the "Bulletin of the KemGUKI"), as well as cited in the international scientometric databases "WoS", "Scopus"; etc.

Each source in the bibliography should have a citation in the text of the article.

In the list of references, each source should be placed on a new line under a serial number. List numbering should be automatic.

The list of references is built in alphabetical order, first – literature in Russian, then – on others.

5. References.A list of references in which the bibliographic description of works in Cyrillic is transliterated into Latin, and the title of the publication is translated into English.

References is performed with differences from the list of references in Russian, related to the peculiarities of accounting for sources in international databases.

Scheme for describing an article published in Russian:

- surname and initials of the author (authors) - in BGN transliteration ">https://www.translitteration.com/transliteration/en/russian/bgn-pcgn/), recommended by an international publishing houseOxford University Press, as «British Standard» (if there are two or more co-authors, the surnames are separated by commas);

- title of the article (transliteration:https://www.translitteration.com/transliteration/en/russian/bgn-pcgn/);

- [translation of the title of the article into English, in square brackets];

- The name of the Russian-language source in transliteration, which is written in italics, is separated from the title of the article by a dot, without a double slash (//):https://www.translitteration.com/transliteration/en/russian/bgn-pcgn;< /p>

- [translation of the source name into English in square brackets];

- numeric data separated from the journal title by a dot;

- an indication of the publication language [e.g.: (In Russ.)] - required!

Foreign sources should be indicated both in the list of literature and in References. At the same time, they are formed with differences arising from the rules applied in each of the lists.

For References, it is not permissible to use the Russian GOST for a bibliographic reference, recommended for lists of literature in Russian-language sources.

Editorial reserves the right to edit articles, aimed at giving them brevity, clarity in the presented material and correspondence to the style of the journal. From the point of view of the scientific content, the author's intention is fully preserved; all corrections affecting the terminology or the meaning of the text are agreed with the author.
