Annotation: In this article, we actualize naturocentric research paradigm of culture. Hypothesis of this article is in thought that culture is an evolutional instrument and result of evolution of human brain that emerged during adaptation to the environment. By adaptation we mean not only physical adaptation to environment conditions such as climatic, but also psychological adaptation, which is built with social norms, moral values, ceremonies, cults etc. Thereby semiotically meaningful cultural artifacts are the essence and main instrument of transformations human’s natural basis to its social representation. In this way, culture is the result of the evolution of human cognitive processes. The analysis of modern neurobiological and anthropological concepts (of N. Tinbergen, K. Lorenz, W. Hamilton, J. Palmer, L. Palmer, L. Cosmides, J. Tooby, Z. Reznikova, D. Zhukova) shows that cultural traditions are a reaction to physiological phenomena or human behavior, expression of a relation to them. More of that, human cognitive processes are determined with environment and that allows to synthesize in thinking the perception, understanding, representation, imagination. In connection with the analysis of these concepts, it is possible to expand the heuristic potential of naturocentric cultural paradigm, to imbue naturocentric paradigm as one of the fields of modern culturology with evolutionary-biological component, explaining the essence of culture, its genesis, its development mechanism and dynamics. Also in this article it’s clearly shown that in way of naturocentric paradigm revealed via evolutional processes is possible to build interdisciplinary concepts of culture in general and individual phenomena in particular. Conclusion of the article highlights important characteristics of culture from the point of view of naturocentric paradigm such as: culturogenesis, main manifestations, subject of culture, main features, functionality.
Keywords: culture, culturogenesis, naturocentrism, evolutionism, neurobiology, cognitive science, naturocentric research paradigm of culture.
