Since 2006 "Bulletin of Kemerovo State University of Culture and Arts"  publishes studies on topical issues of culture, education, science, art, social sector development. The journal differs from the publications of other universities of culture and arts of the Russian Federation by innovative approach to the choice of subject matter and content of publications and research directions, reflecting the problems of designing the modern sociocultural and information technology that is necessary in connection with the updating the solutions of research in the field of culture and arts in  conditions of modern processes of science and education modernization.

The priority areas of research, the results of which are presented in the journal are the solution to the problems of modern humanitarian knowledge in the context of globalization and information, preservation of cultural heritage, strengthening the role and importance of tolerance and intercultural communication, sustainable development of sociocultural spheres.

Through the activities of the magazine and develops integrated academic and university science, sociocultural, scientific and educational space of universities of Kemerovo region, Siberian Federal District, and ensured its inclusion in the sociocultural, scientific and educational environment in national and international level.
